Payment terms
- Once your request is confirmed, please transfer 50% of the total amount to account number BE52 8805 5694 1109.
- The remaining amount is due no later than one month before arrival.
- Please mention your NAME + DATES OF STAY with the transfer.
Cancellation
Need to cancel your reservation? Let us know at theufke.info@gmail.com. If you cancel up to 30 days before the planned stay, we refund the amount already paid. The deposit is non-refundable.
Arrival & departure
- Arrival between 16:00 and 19:00.
- Departure between 12:00 and 14:00.
- Would another time suit you better? Just let us know, we are happy to adapt where possible.

Is my request a confirmed booking?
No. You send a request; Ann will contact you personally to confirm availability and details. Only then is your stay booked.
How many guests can stay?
't Heufke sleeps up to 12 guests in 4 double rooms and 1 room for four. Prices are all-in for 7 to 12 guests. Coming with fewer? Just get in touch with Ann.
Are there bedrooms or bathrooms on the ground floor?
No. All bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs, reached by a staircase. Please bear this in mind if anyone in your group has limited mobility.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, a minimum of 2 nights. For stays longer than 7 nights we are happy to make a tailored offer.
Can we come midweek?
Yes: a midweek runs from Tuesday to Thursday (2 nights) and costs €680 all-in, except during school holidays and popular weekends.
Can we come for Ascension or Whitsun?
Yes. Ascension, Whitsun and Easter are popular weekends and often book up quickly, so request early. The prices section shows the next dates and whether they are still available. A supplement of €100 applies to these weekends.
What are the arrival and departure times?
Arrival between 16:00 and 19:00, departure between 12:00 and 14:00. Would another time suit you better? Let us know, we are happy to adapt where possible.
Where can we park?
Right next to the house, in the quiet dead-end street. There is plenty of space.
Can we get there by public transport?
Yes. Munkzwalm railway station is about 2 km away, and there is a bus stop close to the house with buses towards Oudenaarde and Zottegem.
How far is it to Ghent and Oudenaarde?
By car, Ghent is 30 to 40 minutes away, and Oudenaarde or Zottegem about 20 minutes.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
All beds are made up on arrival. Please bring your own towels and kitchen towels.
Are you coming with children or a baby?
You're very welcome. On request we provide a made-up cot; just mention it in your request.
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed.
Are there house rules?
Yes: please keep things quiet after 10 pm, out of respect for the neighbours. Parties are not allowed.
What do we do with our rubbish?
Please sort your rubbish into PMD (plastic, metal and drink cartons), residual waste, organic waste and glass. Sorted rubbish can simply be left behind.
Is there Wi-Fi and TV?
Yes, there is free Wi-Fi and a TV with Chromecast in the dining room.
Can we charge an electric car?
Yes, there is a charging point a 50-metre walk from the house.
Can we store our bikes safely?
Yes, there is safe bike storage on the premises, by the terrace and garden.
Are there shops nearby?
Yes. There is a butcher and a pharmacy in Sint-Denijs-Boekel itself, and a bakery in the centre of Munkzwalm.
Can we have a barbecue?
Yes, on request we provide a barbecue. Just mention it in your request.
How does payment work?
After confirmation, you transfer 50% of the total to BE52 8805 5694 1109. The balance is due no later than one month before arrival. Please mention your name and dates of stay with the transfer.
What if we need to cancel?

Why request directly rather than via Airbnb?
Booking directly means no platform fees, personal contact with Ann straight away and more flexibility, for example with arrival times.
